The Diari de Girona echoes a new epigenetic study that will include families in the CGAT project

The GCAT study, involving a thousand of inhabitants of Girona, will now involve family groups, to study why not all members of the same family develop the same diseases and if they do, it is different. In part, it is because, although the same family shares most of the genes, their expression can be modified by external factors, also called epigenetic.
