GCAT is part of the European Network
Today the GCAT data has been incorporated into the Cohorts Catalogue of the BBMRI-LPC (Biobanking and Biomolecular Resources Research Infrastructure - Large Prospective Cohorts). This is one of the largest networks of biobanks and large research collections in Europe and its objective is to help scientists to access large prospective study sets on human health and disease. BBMRI-LPC supports innovative research projects conducted in large prospective cohorts (LPC) across Europe and facilitates access to samples for specific research projects selected through open scientific calls.
This month a third BBMRI-LPC Scientific Call for Access will be launched in the fall. This is a unique opportunity for European scientists to gain access to the unique collections of data and biospecimens from the BBMRI-LPC network of high quality cohort studies and carry out ground breaking research projects.
